Wow!  Almost 58 MPG on a regular trip from Lancaster to Columbus on 07/17/07  The trip just happened to be 57 miles, so it took exactly 1 gallon of gas to drive to Columbus and back.  Just imagine if the Prius could plug in.  Fully charged with a decent size battery pack could mean a 50% gasoline use reduction on a highway trip.  
Maybe using just 1/2 gallon or less!  Goodbye gas pump!
