For Sale Plug-In Electric Vehicle.  Runs on 17 golf cart batteries Range with new batteries 45 miles.  This EV is based on a 1980 Subaru 600 "Mini Truck" and has a Ohio title!

This vehicle can be driven on the road although the transmission currently has issues with Reverse & gears 1,2.  Gear 3 is a little winy, but gear 4 works fine.  The Electravan can start out in third easy and cut into 4 at 10MPH

I really would rather not sell this vehicle, but I have other EV projects underway and could use the space.  Really, It is cool just to offer this little EV van for sale!  It gets attention BIG TIME wherever it goes.

I suppose the drivetrain could be swapped out if someone just wants a Mini.  This thing is small and cool.

Please do some research if you want to know more about this vehicle.

Also,  I am beginning to sell parts to those wanting to make their own Electric Vehicles.  I provide consulting in this area.

Just know it takes from $3,500 and up to make your own EV.  Only certain cars make good conversions too.

About home made EV's:

Typical range: 10-80 mile range depending on batteries, size of vehicle, components

Cost of operation:

2-3 cents per mile electricity costs.

Another 2 cents for battery replacement (current battery technology)

Subtract a couple of pennies per mile since gasoline engine related maintenance is eliminated.  No oil change, tuneups, exhaust repair, engine related troubles.

Topspeeds-60MPH -85MPH and probably higher.

EV's are great around town up to 45MPH.  Fast Highway driving reduces range.

Don't let anyone fool you - EV's can be very Fast.  The transmission in this electravan could not take the HP generated by the GE DC moter in this van!  The clutch could not keep from slipping off the line in this van.  1st gear was never used.  This van starts out in second gear in all instances. Top gear is 4.  If it had a five speed it could go over 70MPH, but the body starts bobbing over 60. This vehicle was intented as a urban delivery vehicle.

Thanks for reading!  If you are interested in making your own EV you can contact me.
